It's Officially Christmastime!

Let's start this post out with a random picture I found on my phone today. You might be wondering why Anthany is holding a knife or you might be wondering why we are both smiling about it? I can't say for sure.. I think Anthany was making me a late night dinner when I wanted to take a picture and this is what you get! haha anyways...
So the last few months have been crazy! I started my new job at The Retreat Salon and Tanning in Rexburg. It's so much fun and I love doing hair again. It's been really good being busy with that. Anthany is finishing up his first... and last semester at BYU-I. He has decided to transfer to ISU. He found out more about the Athletic Training degree at ISU and he is really excited to pursue that. He will be going to the Idaho Falls campus for as long as possible and most likely in about two years we will have to move to Pocatello.. yuck. Can't say I'm looking forward to that.
My favorite tradition that Anthany and I have is every year since we first started dating, we have gone to the cabin for Halloween. So we drove up the night before Halloween and watched movies. When we woke up in the morning, there was so much snow. And it wasn't stopping.. all morning we kept an eye on the weather hoping it would stop. We made an awesome breakfast, played some pool, watched movies and the snow just kept coming. So we decided we would rather be safe than sorry and head home before our car got stuck and we were stranded.
Before we left, Anthany made me this cute snowman! He didn't even have gloves! I think it turned out pretty cute. I'm hoping it will still be there when we go back to the cabin again :]
For Thanksgiving this year, we went to Anthany's Grandma's house. She made an awesome dinner and it was fun hanging with the family. After dinner, we went to Walmart to help Anthany's parents do some Christmas shopping. I absolutely hate Black Friday. I hate that it makes everyone lose their minds. I saw this mom practically tackle these little girls trying to get a Just Dance game. I hate the pushing and the stress and all the people. It's just ridiculous. So we got what we needed and got out of there pretty quickly. We finished out the night one of our favorite ways, cuddled up watching The Office in front of the christmas tree I set up two days ago [I just couldn't wait till after Thanksgiving to set it up, I was too excited].
Because I love Christmas so much, it's hard for me not to treat Thanksgiving as something that is just getting in the way of my Christmas decorating. So to show a little respect to Thanksgiving, I will say I truly am thankful and I know how blessed I am. I'm thankful for my awesome family and I love my close relationships with each of them. I'm lucky to have the amazing in-laws that I have! Who support us through everything and are always down to hang out and make us laugh. I'm grateful for my job where I'm doing what I love and working for such a great company. And most importantly, I'm thankful for Anthany. I know I brag about him a lot, but he absolutely deserves it!
Sorry if you are sick of all the Thanksgiving posts, I know that I kinda am. But at least I posted mine on my blog and you chose all by yourself to come and read it :] Now that I got that out of the way, it's finally Christmastime! Happy Holidays everyone!
