I'm not sure why this picture came out so blurry? But dinner was great. And Anthany even got free dessert!
Anthany subtly suggested to his mom that he would really like a fun birthday cake this year. So Veronica made Anthany a cake modeled after his absolute favorite food.. Tacos!!!
Anthany was so surprised and excited. And the cake tasted amazing. We opened presents and play Scattergories at Anthany's Grandma's house.
After we left, we went home and our friend Jeremy came over with his girlfriend Casey. We watched World War Z and sat around the coffee table eating the taco cake. It was super yummy! It was definitely a low-key birthday, but we had fun.
This past month has been so super hard. I'm so thankful for Anthany. He has never made me feel bad when I've let the house get messy, or forgotten to do laundry, or when I was overly sensitive. He just stepped in and picked up the slack. While things seem overwhelming right now, I can't help but feel grateful as well. He is the best example of selflessness and service and love. I hope you had a happy birthday, Anthany! Thanks for being my rock through the hardest of times!
